Quad Powered Formation Evaluation
The Quad Technology unique proprietary design allows for 360° measurement of the well bore, reducing measurement error of porosity and formation fluid types. The total well bore measurement is the basis for the Volumetric Analysis Processing. The Volumetric Analysis Processing measures the amount of Matrix (Sandstone, Limestone, Dolomite), Fines, Clay Content, Shale and as while as the volumetric amount of formation porosity containing oil and water in the reservoir.
The Quad Technology measurement device calculates oil saturation in your reservoir. The Quad Technology volumetric measurements allows for Oil Saturation Processing. The cut offs for producible oil saturations can be set specifically for each of your reservoirs. The Oil Saturation Processing has less error than Archie’s equation (open hole porosity and resistivity measurements), especially in thinly bedded formations. Bound and movable water are also identifiable providing more information for your geological and completion decisions.
